Description: This Pyrex 2.5 Quart casserole dish is called "Dynasty" or "Dynasty Rose" and was produced in 1978 as part of The Designer Collection. It features an Asian themed motif with a vase holding a cherry blossom branch in an ikebana flower arrangement. Diamonds, with crosses inside, border the sides in a repetitive pattern amid an autumnal orange backdrop. A pair of branches with leaves, or perhaps ornate chopsticks for arranging the flowers, runs diagonally behind the vase. Originally, this unusual and beautiful dish sat upon a rattan holder which is not included. The Details: The color coating on this dish is vibrant and thick. The body has small nicks and scratches. One side has larger damage through the vase and branch. There are a few small grey rub marks which I did not attempt to remove. The lid has wear from stacking and use. There are no chips on either piece. Detailed photos are provided. Otherwise, the overall condition is nice and suitable for use as a centerpiece serving dish or for display.
