Vtg Violet Purple Fiddleback Chasuble Vestment & Burse, Colorful Floral Design

Description: You are bidding on a vintage fiddleback chasuble vestment made of violet/purple fabric. This vestment comes with a burse that is similar in color but not an exact match. The orphreys on the front and back of the chasuble feature a colorful scrolling floral design. The chasuble trim has a three-leaf clover pattern. It is lined in plain violet fabric. The chasuble measures 42.5 inches from the top of the shoulder to the lower back hem and 27.25 inches wide across the back. The colors remain bright. The chasuble has some wear/tears, primarily on the front, and large areas of over-sewing repairs to the front (please see photos). There is a 1-inch by 4-inch lighter stained area in the front. One of the tie cords is missing. There is soiling in the neck area. The burse is not an exact match, but it is in nice condition. Bid with confidence.
