There is tarnish on badge and some discoloration to the clothes indicative if age and long storage. These items were acquired in a lien auction. They appear to be authentic memorabilia from this era. Sterling badge has been tested. Please see all the photos for the best reference to the condition. This lot includes a sterling airforce badge circa 1943. The hankerchiefs and the note were also found in this auction. The Soldiers name is shown on the note. He appears to have been stationed in England for some time.
