This lab hotplate stirrer has an elevated control panel, designed for easy access and adjustments while also protecting from potential spills. The VWR stirring hotplate has a chemically resistant, bright white glass-ceramic top, that not only provides even heat distribution, but also a bright contrast to samples, making them easier to see. Safety features include items like an indicator light to alert you to the plate being hot, a safety circuit cutout that will shut off the plate if it exceeds 550°C, and microprocessor control that relays feedback to the hotplate to help maintain the set temperature.
