Description: This is an excellent example of a Rare 1968 Chicago Democratic National Convention Placard, made on the spot to drum up support for Richard Daley during the hectic events around the riots and the infamous Chicago Seven. Most examples from this era have been worn out or destroyed, but this is a really well-preserved example found at a rural Illinois antique seller that was kept in a glass frame. Would rate the condition at least 8.5 or 9 out of 10. Letters show common small bleed from quick printing process to get as many signs out as possible. Will accept reasonable offers. Would make a fantastic piece of history displayed in a frame at a Chicago Bar or Irish establishment with the sharp green lettering.
