Description: Product Description: The Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Willem Van Otterloo ‎– Stravinsky: Le Sacre Du Printemps (The Rite Of Spring) (1978 Australian 1st pressing 12” Vinyl LP issued thru the Australian Broadcasting Commission ‎– AO7041) The Rite Of Spring was the last music Willem van Otterloo conducted, in the Sydney Opera House, before a car crash took his life, on July 27, 1978, in Melbourne. Recorded under studio conditions in the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House. LP is housed in a picture sleeve with printed inner sheet in near mint condition with vinyl in near mint condition. The sleeve and any extra items are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG) The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects. GOOD (G) The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips.
