Description: This charming cup and saucer were made in England by Wood and Sons. They are a creamy beige color with dark gray printing and pictures of gardening equipment. The edges of both have a crimped design. The saucer reads, "Tools Down" and the cup says, "Time for Tea". The bottom of the cup is incised, 'made in England' and saucer has the Wood and Sons mark. I believe they date from the 1980s or 90s. The cup rim is 4" in diameter and the saucer is 6". Together, they weight 11.3 oz. A terrific conversation piece which can certainly be used as intended, to complete your existing set, or as a display.
