Wray Unilite 50mm f/2 converted to Leica M (UNTESTED)

Description: Vintage Wray London Unilite 50/2 lens (s/n 160087) made in England in the 1950's for the Wrayflex camera and professionally converted to the Leica M mount with rangefinder coupling. Unlike the cine version, it does cover full frame. The conversion was beautifully executed by fitting a new helicoid. Optically, there are tiny dust specks and fine cleaning or hairline marks, but the lens is otherwise particularly clean for its age. I can't see any significant issues that would affect pictures, such as deep scratches, fungus or separation. Cosmetically, the barrel shows age-related scuffs, but no major dents or scratches. Focus is smooth and so is the aperture ring, which has firm clicks. Blades are clean. Please refer to pictures to fully assess its condition: I didn't "pimp up" the lens, and frontal flash is unforgiving, so that any visible blemishes are effectively magnified. It comes with a rear M-mount cap and a custom black hood with cap. While I believe the lens to be in fine working order, I have bought it along with a few other "unusual" ones (see my other listings) and am unable to test all of their functionalities, including focus accuracy. I have therefore assumed that it would need an overhaul by a technician.This is why, while I have tried to describe the item as accurately as I can, it's being SOLD AS-IS and its condition graded accordingly, with no returns accepted. However, feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding and I'll respond to the best of my abilities. I will pack the item carefully and will ship within 2-3 days of receiving payment.
