Description: WW1 Army Doughboy Soldier RPPC American in uniform campaign hat Solio postcard photo unposted This soldier is posing in a studio, with a nice domestic backdrop. I have no ID on the soldier. Perhaps it is the photo technique, but the texture of the right side of his face looks like perhaps he has suffered a burn or injury to it. (See close up photo.) Light fading and yellowing to photo. Measures 5.5 x 3.5 inches. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn't able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it's a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so please check out my other listings. I will ship as soon as I receive payment.
