Description: The GMC CCKW "Jimmy" or G-508 was a 2.5-ton, 6x6 truck was made by the US Army from 1941 to 1945 and was incredibly successful during the war. It played a vital logistical role, gaining infamy in the 'Red Ball Express', a trucking operation that supplied American armies in the European Theater of Operations in 1944. This set includes FOUR trucks - two covered and two uncovered. These trucks are scaled so that FOUR units can fit onto a single 60mm hex, with each truck measuring 31mm (l) x 10mm (w) x 12mm (h). The sizes of these models are designed specifically to fit the Memoir 44, 15mm, 1.72nd battlefield or 60mm hex boards, however they will look great on similar sized game map.
