Description: For auction is a WWI German 1889 pattern officers sword. This one is made by WKC and features the EISENHAUER steel proof marking on the blade. Blade measures 31 1/4 inches long and is 37 inches overall length. Blade is straight, no bends and no sharpening, blade point is nice, not tweaked. Brass guard has a nice patina to it, folding guard works great and has a good retention spring. The shagreen fish skin grip is nice, all wire is there. Leather finger loop is there, but shows lots of use from being over 100 years old. Steel scabbard has good black paint, about 90% remaining. Some small light patches of surface rust from where the paint was worn away at over the years. No dents in scabbard. Free shipping for US buyers. No international shipping.
