Description: I still use my XBox 360 controller on a daily basis for testing, controlling computer programs and (to the lesser extent) entertainment purposes. It was a great design, in my opinion. Aside from the fatal flaw.... THE DPAD was ATROCIOUS! I have no idea how they even let it reach final production. It's just awful!Now, I have tried a free model in the past which required cutting the shell and applying hot glue. In the end, it was slightly better, but still a bit stiff and uncomfortable. I told myself at the time that I would create a remix of that model someday but quickly scrapped the idea. Finally, after years, I decided to build my own from scratch that wouldn't require adversely altering the controller. I assumed it wouldn't be possible so my enthusiasm wasn't too high in the beginning. After looking it over and taking a few measurements, I found that it might take a couple prototypes but shouldn't be that far out of the realm of possibility.Thus, I came up with this. And it worked out very well. I think everyone who tries this will be pleased with the results. And if not, it's completely reversible. These will also fit original XBox controllers!
